Who is Pierre Schaeffer?
Perhaps best known for being dubbed, "the godfather of sampling," Pierre Schaeffer coined the term "musique concrete" and spent his life at the Radiodiffusion Française where he founded the Groupe de Recherche de Musique Concrète.
He was a philosopher, sound artist, teacher and innovator that left a legacy that is fairly unmatched. He even taught Jean Michel Jarre!!
